Hi Everyone,

It’s been a busy (and exciting) week for all of us on the buy.at US team. Following Monday’s announcement, we flew out to London to meet our new parent company – Digital Window. After learning more about their strategic focus on ethics, service, and innovation, as well as reviewing their technology and tools, we are thrilled to join the Digital Window family!

This new relationship opens up a world of opportunities for the buy.at team, and we’re looking forward to sharing more great news in the near future. In the meantime, we answered a few questions below, but feel free to reach out to us personally or post a reply if you’d like to learn more.

What does this mean for advertisers and affiliates?
The buy.at US network will continue to operate business as usual. Our platform, tools, technology, and contracts will remain the same and our advertisers and affiliates won’t need to make any changes. In the future, we plan to identify the best tools, technologies, and operations from both platforms and make them available for all of our partners – a win-win situation for everyone involved.

What’s happening to the buy.at US team?
We are relocating to new offices in our existing regions. All current US staff were offered positions within the new organization.

Who is Digital Window?
Digital Window is the holding company for Affiliate Window – one of the largest and most respected networks in the UK. Most recently, Affiliate Window received 2009’s Innovative Affiliate Network of the Year Publishers' Choice of Affiliate Network from a4u (which the company also won in 2007 and 2008).

Why did Digital Window purchase buy.at?
Digital Window CEO Kevin Brown explained it best in a recent interview:
“We have a tremendous amount of respect for what buy.at achieved and stands for, and we feel we share a lot of core values. It has an innovative technical team, talented account managers, and an impressive portfolio of complementary clients. The deal will allow us to leverage the rich expertise in both businesses to deliver exciting and ground-breaking solutions for the market at a much more rapid pace. Together with Zanox, our European partners, and now our buy.at colleagues in the US, we can offer clients a global solution with industry leading technology and quality client service in all core markets.”

Will buy.at and Affiliate Window continue to exist as two separate brands?
In the short term, we will continue to maintain two separate brands but plan to combine them in the future. Since buy.at’s culture and organizational structure is very similar to Affiliate Window, we expect a smooth transition down the road.

We'll have more details on the location in the next few weeks, but the plans are to keep the Maryland team in the Baltimore city area - stay tuned!
