EPN was a surprise until you find out only a few of the 30 that voted are full time affiliates and from the few, I don't know if they're even actual affiliates with ebay. That one is like having a Movies Award for Best Picture and the people voting for the winner, never actually saw the movie. Also, half the winners are on the very board that votes for the awards. Not saying at all they're not deserving, they are, except for that ebay one.

Advisory Board seems to be a good representation. May be eBay did something right that we folks here ABWers are not tuned into ... I will have to give that benefit of doubt to them having won the award.

Who do you think would know more about the affiliate program than affiliates, those actually working with them on a day to day basis and getting paid each month? Network reps, OPMs, affiliates that don't even work with them? Of course not. Out of that 30, how many would you venture to guess get paid each month from them? Besides the surprise in this thread, I read the same on other forums.

Also, have to disagree with you there. You can say they're all very knowledgeable people and they are but a good representation, not really. Considering there is no affiliate marketing without merchants and I count 3 out of 30 on the board as merchants and I'm counting ebay as a merchant with that. And then it could use more actual 100% affiliates. It's a little heavy on the network, OPM, affiliate manager, consultant side. And merchants and affiliates are the 1-2 party, the core of this business and networks the 3rd party. Need more of the 1-2.
