FAO Schwarz

Anyone seeing a pattern here after years of affiliate marketing? They always seem to sail in right before Christmas and either go bankrupt or close their program just after... leaving affiliates stiffed.

Are they back? I wouldn't add them to my pages again after last year. Took me days to remove all their links.

I only promoted them last year but heard that they did this at least one year before. Scum.

We regret to inform you that FAO Schwarz has chosen not to accept
you into their affiliate-marketing program at this time.

hahaha oh no what shall I do. I have to find another toy merchant that won't pay me.

Would be an interesting merchant to promote -- i stopped in their store in las vegas during blog world and when I mentioned it to my mom she was totally surprised that they still had a store as she'd thought they'd all gone bankrupt. The one in NYC did close from what I know. People are probably going to be pretty leary with their money this year and want to be able to have that assurance that they'll be able to return or exchange a product if need be. Let us know what you find out.

After a little more research did you guys know that FAO Schwarz was purchased in 2009 by Toys R Us Inc? Not saying this would changed your decision, I know it will not change mine.
