I just noticed the 'incentive' in CJ, it is only an incentive for adding new merchants.

If you were my boss and cut my pay, I would have to ask why?

To JC Whitney Affiliate Partners:

We've decided to roll-out our increased payout structure to a limited group of partners (as a test). Essentially, its for those partners that are generating $3,000 - $6,000 in sales per month. If they can increase to $10,000 a month - we will increase the payout from 8% to 12%.

If we have some success with this - we will roll out this type of incentive tier to the rest of our affiliates.

Thanks,

Kevin Merker

I'm not really certain as to what you are referring to. We did not cut pay in any way. We are simply willing to pay a nice premium if you can increase your sales volume.

It's getting much harder to get auto parts and accessories traffic these days due to online competition among merchants and competition with paid search engines.

In addition, affiliates might be getting higher payouts using Google AdSense on their sites instead of affiliate links.

A more agressive affiliate incentive structure may be appropriate for the 2004 era.

That will only help if JCW starts converting again

Does this also apply to the Performics program as well?
