What do you use most as an affiliate?
[I do understand that your answer will be closely tied to the main type of affiliate promotion are in, but I thought it may be interesting to get such stats from affiliates registered at ABW] Many thanks in advance for your votes! ![]() Geno

I chose "other."
I find that a nice specific product picture link will get the customer's attention (and action). I will use text links that are complimentary to the specific product picture links. |

should have had an all of the above option - I use everything liberally on many different domains - just depends on how I design each site

GOOOOO text links!
Datafeeds seem to be doing well too. I am under the impression that datafeeds really only make sense for merchants with hundreds of products. As a merchant with 4 products (that don't really change), should I look into datafeeds? |

Yes, at the moment the "text links" votes outnumber the rest of votes taken together... Quite impressive. Definitely gets the point across to merchants.
For the "clarity of the experiment", it'd be good to get more votes though. ![]() Geno |

Hey Geno
Text links converts best, you get the highest CTR aswell hence they are the winner. For comparision shopping sites data feeds are a must. Also it depends on the products, I mean if its a jewelry kind of thing which has a lot of variables to compare, data feed would do the best. Actually it depends what your product is and which particular model(comparision, coupons, info...) you are targeting. Amit |

I am a newbie and had a question. What is the difference between a banner and a text link embedded in an image? aren't they pretty much the same?
