Incentaclick may seem good, but the support you get is horrible and you are shunned quickly. They dont care about the publishers, just the money.

I advise that everyone tries hydramedia instead. A much better site with more ads and friendly staff.

You wont get the horrible support you get here from hydramedia.

Yep, sign up with HydraMedia and you'll get an endless flood of emails like this...

Subject: Complainers...
"It’s been a long weekend and all we need is a set of screams – so please remove these ones from your list ASAP…"

Subject: New Screamers - supress ASAP!
"It’s a LONG list so don’t freak out – but be sure to suppress all the emails below from your entire list ASAP. They tend to complain :("

Subject: Remove Pronto
"Please clean your list from these complainers – kind of long again!!!! (I guess a lot of people out there hate getting emails!) :)"

Subject: Remove ASAP
"Here are some complainers to block from your holiday mailings….enjoy!"

Subject: Remove ppl
"Here are some more to black-hole from your database… (Last email addy is my FAV…lol)"

Subject: Remove
"Be sure to remove this complainer..."

Subject: remove
"Block this guy - he is the next Dan Balsam :)"

Subject: Remove > they hate emails!
"The following list of people REALLY do not appreciate receiving emails. Please add to your global unsubscribes:"

Subject: Remove
"Make sure to dump these ppl out of your list!"

Subject: Remove - these ones as well...
"Here are more complainers….remove these from your list pronto."

Subject: HUGE remove list...
"Here is some more ppl that hate getting emails >>> (if you need my master list – with all the old removes for your file as well…let me know!)"
"If you are mailing Inkjets - be especially SURE not to email this guy! He has been also added to the Ink offer suppression list!"

Subject: Remove list! HUGE
"It’s an enormous list! So beware and have fun :) …thanks"

Subject: Screamers
"Please remove"

Subject: Mail haters...
"Good morning > please remove these ppl from your list :)"

Subject: Huge remove list
"Don’t freak out - it’s a massive list this time – these ppl hate emails! Get them off your list ASAP J (btw – if you want the master list let me know.)"

Subject: New remove list
"Happy Monday – get these screamers off your list ASAP…"

Subject: Block from you list!
"Here is a lil gift for the weekend – block all these whiners!"

I don't know what's most troubling about this:
  • The volume of email addresses on the remove list. (There are literally HUNDREDS of new ones in some of these emails!) Keep in mind that this: Most CPA Networks don't allow spammers to put direct CPA Network links in emails. They have to be links to another site, which redirect through the CPA Network and then to the offer. Most recipients will never see anything about the CPA Network. Only those who trace through the redirects will even know that the CPA Network was in the loop. These people had to trace the redirects, find contact information, and complain vocally enough that the CPA Network actually put them on a global remove list.
  • That this is being sent to all affiliates (apparently) rather than just the offenders.
  • That they don't take action against the offenders/spammers.
  • The attitude that they have about those who complain. (For example, "complainers", "whiners", "screamers", "hate getting emails", and poking fun at some specific addresses.) They have absolutely no respect for these poor victims of spam.

But Michael, other than that, what do you REALLY think about HydraMedia? And don't sugar - coat it!!

This kind of bush league tactic is sooooo transparent. Oh well, onward to better things.

yeah, hydramedia's spam is annoying, but it is helpful if you like knowing the latest campaigns.

Either way, they have the same campaigns as incentaclick, they pay the same amount but there are so much more and the whole setup is better.

Incentaclick is really just a joke.

But it's FINE and perfectly justifiable, no matter what kind of problems it causes, as long as some people are making money off it. That is what you're saying.

Incentaclick provides support to all its publishers via dedicated account managers available at their disposal. We have no reason to suspend publishers that make us money, especially since we spend money to actively acquire new publishers. We will not however, put up with continuous blatant fraud. Our decision to suspend this publisher 'Coda' was not by any means quick, as our investigation went on for over one month. After collecting and analyzing several sets of data, the evidence was very conclusive that almost all traffic generated from this publisher was fraudulent.

Further, we have a relationship with Hydra and we will gladly share this information as it will prove to be very valuable to them.

Okay, so I heard back from my Account Manager, who was shown this "blog". Apparently I was wrong. None of HydraMedia.com's affiliates spam. All subscribers are opt-in.

So I decided to look through some of the spam that I received today, to see which CPA Networks they were going through. Here's what I found:

(Usually, the first on the redirect path is the spammer, the last is the advertiser, and the ones in between are CPA Networks.)

Subject: 500 Dollar TOYS'R'US (R) Gift Card Inside
Redirect Path: rtnvimail8.com, clicksmartaffiliates.com, greatamericangiveaways.com

Subject: Forensic accountants are needed
Redirect Path: avid-junction.net, adprofile.net (Adteractive), degreeusa.com

Subject: Legally repair your credit to an A rating
Redirect Path: veritonfind.com, ecreditrepair.com

Subject: The year to further your career
Redirect Path: rtnvimail18.com, free-college-info.com

Subject: Cash Loans for women
Redirect Path: premiumready.net, 6starads.com, quickcash4women.com, secure-cash.net

Subject: Hello, Brighten your skin with Lumitone

Subject: Financial aid is available for online universities

Subject: Wanna cut your chores in half? We have Tide 2x samples..Hurray!
Redirect Path: dhifborg.info, twuecajo.info, lynxtrack.com, girlfriendremedies.com

BINGO! lynxtrack.com is HydraMedia's tracking server. Found one from a HydraMedia affiliate after checking just nine spam emails. (And the very next spam email after that is a duplicate, sent one minute later.)

Subject: Build your dream kitchen
Redirect Path: rtnvimail6.com, forgyi.com (QuinStreet), guidetokitchenrenovations.com

It's amazing the number of CPA Networks who allow spam like this.

The thing I sometimes dont like about hydramedia is their lack in faith in affiliates so they dont give decent raises or payouts unless they see proven perfomance at the start, but its like if someone can get a nice rate for an offer elsewhere why would they want to go to hydra for a crap rate and have to prove themselves.
