If an affiliate operates under a corporate umbrella, but has several web sites with all different names...............

1...Should that corporate name be disclosed in the legal statements for each website?
2...Should the copyright tag be for the individual site name or the corporate name?

We add a link in the footer of our websites to our corporate domain. Some of our websites have copright info in the code:

Yes, for the corporate umbrella to protect you from liability the user must know they are dealing with a corporation. I advise my clients to put both the corporate name and the domain name in their TOS as the party the visitor is dealing with.

I thought that this was the proper way to handle it.
When I first started in this business, I posted the corporate info. Got away from it because it seemed that no one else did it.

Today, I spotted a site that posted the corporate name with the copyright notice and it started me to thinking about it again.

From my observation, very few websites have this information posted.
