Any affiliates out there using a live chat client to interact with customers? I've been considering this for Q4 as a way to improve engagement, answer any quick questions that come up, and give a personal sales pitch if needed. If it saves someone from hitting the back button, it would be worth it, plus probably give some insight into common questions or confusions that could be used for future site improvements.

I'm concerned about the time it would take to manage (or the personnel expense if the volume of chats gets out of control).

Is anybody else doing this? If so, what chat client would you recommend?
