Hi, ABW Peeps!

I know some of you will be heading to Vegas next month for Affiliate Summit West, and some of you are already aware we (SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment) will be hosting a FREE one-hour event featuring some very special guests. While we can't yet say exactly who those guests are, we do hope you will be able to attend (and be sure to tell your colleagues). (Meet SeaWorld's Animal Ambassadors - Eventbrite) Our furry friends will be sad if you don't show up.

Our event is welcome to all who are at ASW, regardless of whether you're an Affiliate or a Merchant. The more the merrier!

Did you enjoy being a Mentor? I did it for the first time this year, and really liked it.

My mentee never showed. As I took my cigarette breaks outside and would chat with folks, I eventually got 3 "unofficial" mentees - 2 affiliates and a new merchant.

Did I like it? LOVED it! You never realize how much you know until a noob asks you questions. Plus, I apparently know everyone in the biz and introduced these folks to the exact people who can help them.

One of them is going places. I asked to keep in touch so I could follow his progress.

I'd do it again in a heartbeat!

and if no one's told you Ashley, your event was one of the highlights!

There are more pics of that bird landing on people's heads then you can shake a stick at!

And the volunteers who held out their arms - only to end up holding a snake the size of a house... I'm so glad I didn't raise my hand for that one - LOL
