Hi, I'm a U.S. Natural Born citizen living abroad. If your shut out of the affiliate circuit and need back in the game I Think I can help.

I know that there may or may not be federal laws in the pipeline which may resolve this issue, and that its up to individual states to decide to participate or not.

I would be happy to share this proposed idea with someone who is well informed in this forum, possible one of the moderators, through private messaging. And if they agree it has merit, open it up to the forum.

We looked at an idea of working with affiliates as the "overseas" company in terms of avoiding the nexus tax issue. With Affiliates working as sub affiliates of our affiliate account, but the issue that we found people were concerned with is that it could easily be construed as a form of tax evasion by the local affiliate if they were found to be Participating in such a set up. We didn't dig too deep into the idea or talk to any tax / legal experts. But it may be something worth exploring.

Well I was worried about the same thing initially, that it would look like tax evasion, then I reflected on how the business world works.

Delaware is where many companies are chartered and officially home based because of taxes.

Many companies use banks in the carribean or swiss banks.

Panama is where many ships are registered for same reason.

So really this is no different than standard business practices currently accepted for tax purposes.
