Hey everyone, I’m Peter Franklin and I work for Amy Ely at buy.at. Once again we have some passes to give away for Affiliate Summit East and I know many of you are eagerly awaiting the next round of buy.at trivia – well it is finally here! Hopefully everyone has done their homework because there are no easy questions this time around.

Yes so close...I would have gotten it If I could find a way to tell reliably tell which programs had a datafeed and which do not. Since it come up, how do you tell? But I want that pass and so I'll be waiting for the next contest :-) Thanks for the opportunity.

Hi there!

There are a few different ways to tell which programs on buy.at have a feed:

1. You can visit the Programs Page on buy.at US and select data feed from the distribution drop down.

2. You can log into your management area and select Programs to view all programs on buy.at. If the program has a feed, there will be a green check in the Feed column. If not, a red X will appear.

3. You can log into your management area and select make links, then Product feeds. This is where you would access all of the feeds from programs for which you are approved - which should be ALL of them anyhow.

Hi there,

Another great question! This is an average number of items for programs on the US network that have data feeds (which is what makes it easier to calculate). It looks like they are all programs with products (not services).

Since there is no way to tell which merchants even have datafeeds, let alone how many products in each feed, I don't think anyone is willing to guess first and thus lose their only guess on this contests. Maybe to start the ball rolling you can change the contest so that the first 3 quessers can have 2 guesses? Because it doesn't seem anyone is willing to waste their guess with a shot in the dark.
