I read about 3 pages, before giving up the ghost and seeing how this movie turned out. Thanks for the summerary Andy

I kn0ow no one will read the solution, those from Aluria are probably long gone, but how about this. If the Aluria people say people can read and decode the affiliate cookies, then they as professionals should be able to also. If they can, they should see the cookie start date and/or end date. I don't know which is posted on the cookies. Since novices in general don't run their spywear software more than probably once a month if that often. Then just don't delete the affiliate cookies that are less than a month old. This is not going to make a difference to almost all of the novice users. It's not like they run it every day and affiliates will get their usual cookie duration. There are very few affiliate programs that are over 30 days these days anyway.

A second solution that would suit me just fine, since mas I said b4 most novice don't run spyware everyday, is that, when they run it the first time, it marks the affiliate links for deletion and the second time that's when it deletes them. After all, people are too lazy to run these type of things every month. What I would assume people will do, is run it when they buy it and then forget about it again until there is a virus warning on the news.
