Thank you for your quick replies last evening, Andy. I am now in the program and have some basic links posted on three sites (see my follow-up email). I'll get that "targeted" domain re-built early next week and we'll see how it does with only SEO to attract new customers.

I can [almost] guarantee a couple of initial sales next week. We happen to need two orders of checks for the new company and some cards for both Jill and me. I assume my own sales are commissionable.

Easy, VP has had multiple programs on different networks for a while ...

VP runs a fine program, we share many affiliates and I don't hear many complaints ...

There is nothing sleazy about the title of this thread, in fact, it's 100% on target as we aimed to recruit affiliates from our biggest competitor. The thread was a part of an overall recruitment campaign and was very successful.

I'm sorry you feel the term "sleazy" applies here and you choose to post that negative comment, you are though entitled to your opinion.

Our merchants, whom we work for and pay our fees, are very satisfied with our very effective affiliate recruitment strategies and many affiliates have been greatful to have heard of this program via this thread and earning the massive commissions they are earning today with this merchant.
