Important ARC Update

Hello ABW Family,

I thought I would take this opportunity to announce that I will no longer be working with ARC Consulting to pursue other opportunities. I can’t say enough good things about Andy and his group. Andy has been a personal mentor to me on a number of different levels and I wish him and ARC only the best.

I’ve been asked by a few friends in the industry about my future plans and what I can discuss at this time is that I will be managing affiliate programs, especially with a major retailer in South Florida. For those of you attending Affiliate Summit, I look forward to discussing with you some of my plans and look forward to the feedback.

I want to once again thank Andy for bringing me into such a wonderful industry and allowing me to work side by side with him over the years, Andy is a great person and a wonderful affiliate manager.

I will also be including on a few management changes to programs I will be managing. Please look for these in future posts.

Congrats, Emilio! That's some great news for you and some major retailer in South Florida.

It seems like you've been with ARC forever. I can't imagine how much you've learned from Andy. I'm sure you'll be a tremendous success anywhere you go.

Your new employer should send me a check ...

Really, it's a great company you will be managing and they can, if they listen to you, make strong inroads into an untapped market in the affiliate world.

As for ARC, we do have some changes coming into 2011:

* We are "thining out" the herd, we are dropping some merchants, adding new ones and fine tunning the affiliate managing process to make it more efficient and get a better ROI.

* We are launching 2 new services for the affiliate marketing industry, developed by us over the last year, more on that later.

* We are launching a new website, filling a void that exists within the industry, this will appeal to many of you in our industry and will make your life much easier. It's been a long time in the works.

* We are also tweaking the design our our new ARC website, celebrating our 10th year in the affiliate marketing industry.

We wish Emilio the best, he will be in Vegas and he can buy us many drinks ...

Emilio, wow sorry to see you leaving ARC my friend, but glad you are atleast staying in the AM business, specially helping out retailers in South Florida, we all know they do need help for sure.

I understand how you feel about Andy. He is experienced, wonderfully talented and is a great guy who is always willing to share. While I've only had the opportunity to work with him as an affiliate, I did learn a lot from him, the ARC team, and you. Andy is the person who convinced us we needed to become a merchant and "do our own thing."

It will be good to see you in Vegas and "hear all about it."
