Can anyone recommend a good php plugin for Wordpress?

When I search in Plugins > Add New, many come up with five stars - can't really tell what's what.

Searching google, phpexec.txt comes up and it looks good and easy to use, but it does not come up in a Plugins > Add New search.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

Exec-PHP

put that in the search, it'll come right up. It's the one I've been using since the beginning, based on recommendations from many here.
Thanks From:

Just installed the Shortcode Exec PHP, works even on Multisite. You don't have to disable the Visual Editor as you do with Exec-PHP.

Works with PopShops a charm: copy the PHP code, paste, give a shortcode. (The PopShops WP plugin didn't work for me with multisite...if someone has successfully used it with multisite, please post.)

Thanks Trust, Renée; I'm leaning towards the ShortcodeExecPHP.

Should have mentioned, if using Shortcode Exec PHP with PopShops PHP, remove the opening/closing <?php & ?> tags.

I have used 2-3 of these plugins and the one I liked the best is the Shortcode one as well.

It allows you to put php in posts and pages. Some of the others did not work with my theme and broke. With shortcode I had no problems with several of my themes.

First off, be careful when entering PHP code in to your posts, I've messed up more than my fair share of wordpress blogs by being careless when entering PHP code with errors.

That said, Shortcode Exec PHP has been a blessing and I recommend it over any other PHP-in-a-post plugin.

Good luck!
