Commission Structure

Flights

• Long haul (Trans-Atlantic flights to & from the US, Asia Pacific and Europe): 2%
• Short haul* (Flights within Europe): 1.25%

*Please note that there is no commission on domestic flights within the United Kingdom

Vacations

• 5% on hotel bookings (on all sales)
• 5% on car rental (on all sales)
• 3% on combinations (any combination of flight + car / hotel booking)

Program Details

A wide range of program tools are available to promote the British Airways' offering:

• Banner creative available in standard ad size formats
• BA branded search boxes to enable users to enter their travel requirements from your site and deep link into the booking process on ba.com
• Access to real time fares and seat availability for direct journey types through the British Airways XML API

Publisher Criteria

Affiliates are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and the following affiliates are not permitted to join the program:

• Travel agents
• PPC affiliates using British Airways’ brand terms
• Affiliates using software as a promotional tool
• Affiliates who buy advertising space on third party sites on behalf of British Airways
• Cashback, coupon, and loyalty/reward affiliates

Joint Business

In 2010 British Airways and American Airlines, with Iberia, signed a historic agreement after receiving regulatory approval from the US and EU authorities, allowing them to co-operate on transatlantic flights.

The joint business has helped increase service levels for customers. It has meant that customers have access to a global network of more than 400 destinations, better scheduled travel time, more convenient connections and greater access to discounted fares by being able to book, for example, BA and AA fares on ba.com.
