I've been reading a lot of posts today regarding the newest California law, after getting a few letters today as a resident :-(
One thing that really caught my eye was a comment about finding merchants in California that have an affiliate program - as they already pay sales tax. It made me think that there's probably another opportunity here... I would think there are numerous California businesses selling online that do not yet even have an affiliate program, and could probably benefit from one. Particularly with us resident affiliate marketers looking for replacement merchants to advertise. Has anyone thought about how we could start identifying potential merchants and getting some kind of letter to them explaining the opportunity? |

This sounds like a great idea for OPMs seeking new merchants to manage?
