That's the way to do it, file a lawsuit. Love real action.

In June, the DMA, Direct Marketing Association filed suit - DMA Files Lawsuit Against the State of Colorado Over Internet Sales Tax Law

and now:

"U.S. District Judge Robert Blackburn on Wednesday issued a preliminary injunction that keeps Colorado from enforcing a 2010 law imposing tax reporting requirements on out-of-state retailers like Amazon.com."

'Amazon Tax' enjoined by federal judge | Face the State

Now maybe the DMA can do something for North Carolina please.

Yay!

This calls for a cheer! We should celebrate every little victory.

Anyone in the affiliate channel talking with the DMA in other states? How about New York?

The DMA was involved in NY from the start, but I'm not sure they really knew what to do about it then since it was the first real instance. Maybe they have a solid game plan now.

Makes me wonder if we should be working with the DMA on all states that have the nexus pending?
