Hey, since I'm a newbie, I don't know the answer to this question:

What is your favorite network and why?

Thanks to all those who answer. (Don't worry-- this question doesn't mean we'll be network hopping.)

I voted for CJ because of...

1. Superior Interface (ease of product linking, reports, etc)
2. Real time reporting
3. Combined Payments

I like SAS....better sales, more money

I agree with what ToughTurkey™ said and add;

Exceptional support staff, granted at times you need to call but at least there is someone to speak with!

My choice is the private programs that are parasite-free. I have hundreds of merchants from most networks and 80% of sales this year have been from private programs. As long as the networks continue to look the other way when it comes to COC violations I expect to continue concentrating on promoting the smaller private programs.

I have to admit, I have changed my tune with respect to CJ. There are lots of advantages, including more quality (producing) merchants, for my market niche, and consolidated checks that are paid timely, period...

Above CJ however, is my not so secret, secret weapon, and third are inhouse programs that are more immune to parasites, and less likely to use finely honed commission diversion tactics, I think, mostly due to their eagerness to please, at least for now...

Y'Know what would be nice? An affiliate network set up by an actual affiliate or group of affiliates who know what it feels like to be screwed out of commissions, know what affiliates want in a program and would run a clean house..

You may find this interesting, but I myself am an affiliate. Although, I'm brand new to it-- I haven't yet begun to roll in the big bucks. Right now I'm small time-- but this weekend I become big time.

Now-- watch the finger... become hypnotized so that you forget what I just said.....I am only bryan@smoothcorp....bryan@smoothcorp...@......co...br...

Hi Bryan (wave from across the lake)

I wonder when us northwest affiliate marketing types are gonna get enough steam built up to get one of them big events hosted here...
