There is a new merchant at CJ, Genuardi's Groceries. Interesting thing is it appears they ony serve the Philadelphia area. Also, when you click on their link you are really taken to a safeway.com website.
I just find it amazing this company can pay the cost of CJ for such a limited area.

Yeah, I checked them out, too. Safeway and Vons have programs on CJ and have had for a year or two. I suppose it's been profitable enough for them.
Phillyburbs will have fun with this merchant I'm sure.
What I really want is for Wild Oats and/or Whole Earth markets to start affiliate programs. I miss having a supermarket sized health food store nearby. As it stand it's a two hour drive for us to get to one...and that stinks.

I think a Wild Oats or Whole Earth affiliate program would be very successful. I know they're expanding their brick and mortar locations, but there are a lot of areas that still don't have one nearby. I think they'd be very successful shipping to remote areas.
Perhaps they should be contacted with this suggestion?

I'm on the board of directors of a group here in town and we meet in different restaurants around town each month. Someone suggested Wild Oats. What a shock when I discoverd I could not order a can or glass of cola there!! So I had water. No, not the 20 different varieties of bottled water. I got mine right out of the tap. I'm sure the regulars cringed when they saw me do that. ;-)

You have a Wild Oats nearby? I'm soooooo jealous.
Next time you go be sure to get the Ecuador blend of coffee. That is the most happy of the various happy drinks they sell. Euphoria!
Andy, I've written both Wild Oats and Whole Earth begging them to open a store in the Albany area. I haven't even received a reply from them about that.

Rhea,
I drive within 100 feet of the Wild Oats store every day.
And less than a mile from my house is a brand new, 55,000 square feet, Whole Foods Market ( http://www.wholefoodsmarket.com/comp..._09-21-05.html)
400 varieties of seasonal and local produce, more than 300 varieties of natural and organic cheeses, 50 varieties of fresh seafood and shellfish, including wild Alaskan salmon, fresh Maine lobsters and Dungeness crab, flown-in and delivered fresh six days per week.
And much more.

What the hell does Nebraska have that Albany, NY doesn't have? (Other than Nebraskans, of course.)
Well, Wild Oats has a forum so I joined. My sig reads,
Please, oh please open a store in Albany, NY!
Or Lee, MA or Bennington, VT. See? I can be flexible.
