Auto Parts Warehouse Leaks!

Does anybody notice that there are google ads and banners are all over Auto Parts Warehouse site now?

I'm pretty sure when I first joined them a year ago, there was no such a thing on their site. I was doing fairly good with them last year, but this year, my sales dropped drasticly.

Just found out their sneaky google ads, they could be there long before today.

Shame on you Auto Parts Warehouse!

I see what is being referred to. Just click on a specific part for a specific car and the ads are on the right hand side in an adsense box.

Example: http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/de...3-1655094.html

Perhaps AdSense can be geo-targeted by the site owner? I don't know as I'm not an AdSense user...although NYFalcon is trying to convert me over. :-)

I am using FF too. Version 2.0.0.16

OK, in Firefox 2 the ads don't show up, in FF3 they do. I have 2 computers on the same page, one has the ads showing, the other doesn't.

Sorry, I was out for dinner.

You guys don't see the ads? They are on every pages of their site. The index page only has a right site ads. Other pages are having ads on top and right bar.

Thanks SFcom for confirming. I'm not throwing accusations around for no reason.

By the way, I use IE.

Well, I've learned a very important lesson... when scoping out a merchant for possible promotion, open the site in various browsers and investigate big blank areas....

What bothers me the most is when merchants start to do sneaky things after a while(like I said, they were clean when I first joined).

If it is not because of the unusual sales drop, I will never think of checking their sites.

Maybe from now on, we need to spend some time on checking merchants' sites on a regular basis

I am using Firefox 2.0 and I see them at the top of the page as well as on the side. It's a nice complement to that very large order toll free graphic.

Using FF3 from the UK I get the google ads at the top and and a fastclick banner on the right. In IE6 I get nothing.

FF2 Don't see ads
IE7 Don't see ads

Checked source code for Example: http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/ac_condenser~pop.html

Don't see any Google ads

I am so confused. How can some people see the ads, but others don't?

I'm not seeing them either. I'm in FF 2.0.0.16 and IE 7.0.

I'm seeing them! Sneaky merchant. They weren't there when I added them to my site. But whatever they are doing, they aren't doing it to me anymore. Thank you Mayfly!
