It looks like they introduced several related bills, same thing happened in CA yesterday. They're getting creative.

oh great. here we go again.
does anyone have any data from the other states that have passed similar laws? I think it would be helpful if we can show CT that states like Rhode Island has received $0 in sales tax revenue from companies like Amazon.com. at least CT isn't trying to sneak this one thru like they did in IL. |

We have some public statements that RI and NC saw $0 in sales tax increases, which definitely helps. And this was NOT passed by 16 other states, who heard from affiliates and realized its a bad idea. The bad news is that it's like Groundhog Day, same story, different year. The good news is we're getting pretty good at convincing legislators how stupid this is.
