I just wanted to post the following link regarding sales tax in CT. Eileen Daily was one of the big drivers of the Affiliate Sales Tax in CT last spring and looks
like she may be pushing these types of bills in the fall: http://ctmirror.org/story/7528/sales...?quicktabs_1=1 we defeated this bill with small numbers in the spring, looks like we're going to need greater numbers to defeat it in the fall. if you haven't done so already, please join our google group and encourage other CT affiliates to do the same: http://groups.google.com/group/pma-ct here, we communiate with other CT affiliates about what's going on with the tax. as many of you know, last year we had to act fast to protest this bill. looks like we're going to have to do the same thing all over again. |

Thanks for the heads up. Let us know if there is something us CT affiliates can do to help fight this.

For now, I suggest joining the google group above, and signing up for email alerts. I also recommend checking this board when you can. I will always post here if I hear anything. ABW and PMA is a great way to stay informed.
Last year we had a small handful of affiliates go to Hartford to help shoot down the bill. Being one of them, I can tell you IF this bill comes again, we'll have to act quickly. This kind of legislation seems to move fast, which means we have to act fast. Stay tuned
