In case any of you UK users use Cloud 9, you'd better know that it has gone bust. Of course if you're still a Cloud 9 user, you've put up with crappy service and terrible support for years anyway, so it should be a relief.

I use NTL cable and I am impressed with it. I had a problem that I was only connecting at 128K and the support guys fixed that. It took a long time to get through but I heard that they had improved it.
I took the cable as I could not find a reasonable DSL provider.
PS Never heard of cloud 9 (I live in a sheltered world).
Cloud 9 were one of the first unmetered ISPs in the UK, also providing hosting, mail relays etc.
Mrs Dynamoo's company use to use them until a couple of weeks ago.
Yes, I have an NTL cable modem - but it took *three* attempts to get the cable working where I live - at one point I had *six* NTL vans parked outside. Tech support is very patchy too - I can't access Kanoodle for instance, and I've had a call outstanding for about 3 weeks. Hmmph.
If you want to use support, dont go direct to the support line.
If you have to call, call on of the 0800 numbers and ask to be transfered. This way you dont have to pay for the tech call charges.<IMG src=http://www.abestweb.com/ubb/icons/icon38.gif>
