OK, mysql is not running..
How do I restart it??

The error message is:
ERROR 2002: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock'
(2)

I've use PS (shows which processes are running), and mysql is not running.

Most of my sites use mysql to store data (and the resulting delivery), so they're all useless at the moment. ARGHH!!

Never Mind..
After a very nervous hour, I figured out how to restart it.

I hate to think how long it might have been down for.

Question: why would it stop like that?

Don't feel too bad. My apache server decided to stop a week and a half ago while I was out of town. It was down for 2 and a half days. [img]/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif[/img]
