In today's New York Attorney General complaint against Direct Revenue, attorney Justin Brookman states the following:
Quote:
Direct Revenue even remotely added other pop-up ad programs (such as TopMoxie's "Moe Money" program)
See affirmation, PDF page 57, paragraph 131.

"Moe Money" can only be a reference to Ebates Moe Money Maker.

Is NYAG saying that Direct Revenue installed Ebates? Including in all the nonconsensual and misleading circumstances in which Direct Revenue has been known to become installed? I don't yet know. But I'm working on getting more details on this important aspect of Ebates' historic distribution methods.

So now we have the answer: Yes, Direct Revenue installed Ebates. The deal continued up through March 2005. See Affidavit of Alan Murray (a Direct Revenue co-owner), page 6-7.

I can see our two former deputy district attorneys answering Eliot Spitzer questions.
"Prior to March 2005 DirectRevenue distributed a software program developped by TopMoxie, Inc entitled " The Moe Money Maker" under the tradename eBates"
And what about our two crooked networks CJ and LinkShare, lying and laughing at us all these years while stealing our commissions to give to eBates.

Same picture of Paul Nichols we had for years on the frontpage of CJ. Is he still smiling?

Out of curiosity, as the law seems to be at least attempting to get closer to the criminals in this business, can we look at 3 key recent resignations of top network players as being coincidental, or perhaps more along the lines of "we know what's coming..."

If you knew there was an iceberg a few hundred yards ahead of the Titanic, wouldn't you be sitting in a lifeboat by the time of the collision?

I would imagine he is laughing his bloody head off never mind smiling all the millions CJ has allowed him to steal from us over the years.

But lets not forget it is not all CJ's fault ...... after all ebates are compliant according to CJ's 100% effective fraud squad.
