So the hard deadline for rss2 migration is May 31. Which means that BANS will finally be dead in it's original form.

BUT with a fix available, is anyone paying the $$ for it?, and if so I would be interested in your reasoning.

Ive got 2 BANS sites that tick over a few bucks each month. The fix would pay for itself in a short while, but maybe by allowing them to die it will motivate me to do something better with the nicely aged domains.

well it seems no one is using BANS anymore, not surprising. I must be the only one on these boards. It was the platform that got me started, before I understood WP - I understood BANS. Anyway, this fix is only good until php 6 is released which could be months or years. In the meantime I will earn my $ back and much more.

No, the developers of BANS aren't supporting it anymore. The fix was made by an enterprising web developer who saw a good biz opportunity.
