Wow Trust, you're fast, I was just coming here to post about this. After I finished the post you referred to at Affiliate Advocacy I was doing some additional work on the issue.
Last year there were some rumblings in Florida about adding Internet sales tax but not much really happened. This year Senator Detert has been talking about the "benefits" of taxing online purchases - $2 billion in revenue. Such public early discussions would indicate that momentum is gaining. School boards and local business are supporting the movement. Florida affiliates should really reach out to their Senators and Representatives now to discuss it.
