Google Affiliate Network (PAYMENT NOTIFICATION)
PAYMENT/CHECK DATE: 10/29/2009
TOTAL: $0.00
No Record found, please check again
That's what I received (Twice) for my last day with GAN.
Damned idiots. Check WHAT???

Why don't they tell WHEN I'm going to get paid?

These last few weeks my mailbox was overloaded with 'Invitations' from GAN. Special offers from merchants. I've never seen so many emails from GAN even during the shopping season.

Why are they wasting their time with me? Is GAN asking them to convince me to stay?
Not ONE of these merchants talked about the change of payment by GAN. Not one. PATHETIC.

I've been been paid for years by Performics and GAN every two weeks. This month: NOTHING and they owned me a bunch. Crooks.

I don't see why I should open an AdSense account to get paid. My GAN account is still not linked to my other Google accounts. Are they holding my money to scare me? Is it intimidation?
They will deactive me today, fine. I'm so glad their stupid management is not going to make one cent from me anymore.

At this point you don't have that option. The account is closed. I can't even get into mine. Unless you kept records I doubt you'll see the money. It's the worst thing I have ever seen in this business in the years that I've been an affiliate. It's worse than the parasites out there.

I thought they paid us (the non-adsense people) for all sales before Sept. I received one check after another for awhile in September.

Hmmm Dionysos, your message vanished.

Ditto. No eleventh-hour reprieves; nothing but confusing emails with nebulous and vague responses in answer to queries. So there we were, and there we go.

I'm deactivated from the network, too. That's OK.
BUT:
These damned thieves have not deactivated our links.
GAN is stealing our traffic.
That's so ugly, so little... GAN management has no class. Trying to make a profit this way.
Shame on you GAN!!!

Ask them -- who are the 1%???? What kind of volume did they produce???? Get Google to give you the real picture.
By the way... I ended up qualifying for a really nice gift from BuyCostumes. My sales ended up being the best yet. It all went to merchants in other networks. GAN merchants -- you can thank your Google buddies for putting your needs first (not!). And just think, this is just the beginning....Happy Holidays

How much will GAN merchants be losing out over the next 6 crucial weeks I wonder? How many will end up shutting their doors?

Lucky for me, I never did much with GAN merchants and for sure after getting tossed by Adsense for NO KNOW REASON and their keeping over the $10,000 they owed me, I was not going to do any promoting of the still active merchants I was affiliated with.

Now $10K is a decent amount of money. But it is too much for small claims court and too little to do the attorney trip. So Google gets to post it right to their bottom line.

As for the links, I feel for Zeus. EBAY did the same thing. I had links, widgets and such on hundreds of pages. So when they TOSSED me, they never deactivated the links. They not only kept over $2K but they stole any traffic. Now, I think I have them all taken down, but it took me over a month just go thru most of my pages and yank them.

I have been discussing the matter with my legal beagle ... he says that it is 'unlawful conversion' since they ininiated the TOS action and no where in their contract does it say anything about who owns the links.

I'm sure Google is making the same assumptions and thinks it's up to the affiliate to take down the links and not their responsibility. But they might be in for some big time
legal problems since individual websites are personal property and failure to de-activate links when a contract is voided tenatively means those links are tresspassing.

Going to be interesting.

All I can say is thta GAN went over the line on this and in my opinion they now stand for what's wrong in our industry. I think they tried to bullly the 1 percenters who are actually probably the 33 percernters.

They didn't care about some of their partners who've been with them for years. They sold many of us down the drain.

That's my opinion.

I've been a GAN affiliate for years, earning $10k+ a month. I didn't get paid in April. When I go into Adsense, I don't see any posted GAN earnings for March. Who can I contact at GAN to figure this out?

When I go into connectcommerce.com and look at 'Holds' I see all my earnings for March and some from Feb, Jan, Dec 2011.

My last commission payment was sent to my bank account in March.

When I go into google.com/adsense and look at Payments, the last thing is my Payment issued at the end of March. No 'Earnings' for March have been posted.

Everything else about my account seems like it is 100% functional but this payment thing leads me to believe I have some type of hold on my account.

Where to go from here?

Sent a message to GAN support, got an automated response talking about needing $100 in earnings and 60-90 day holds..

Ugh..

I make $10k+ a month, for years, and I can't get any help..

Disappointing..

Edit: I'll send you an email Jamie..

This is the typical run around you get from Google. Jamie, you should step in and help this person. This is the same ineffective garbage that many of us saw with the GAN to Adsense debacle. And your unwillingness to help affiliates receive their balances of under $50. It's time, someone from your company steps up and does the moral and ethical thing. Don't you think?

An update for my lack of payment..

8 days and all I've gotten is a 'Thanks for your patience while we look into it..'

I believe Jamie has been helpful in getting my issue sent to somewhere that might be able to help, but that was 8 days ago, and I still have no response from that department.

This is an issue that should have been able to be corrected in 24 to 48 hours..

Be prepared for a run around until you finally give up. You will be passed from department to department. All I think Jamie can do is pass on your info and then you will be bamboozled.

At least that's my experience. It would be nice to here a different outcome. Good luck!

Still nothing from GAN...

What is the best way to document what I am owed? Which reports will best show what I have earned, but have not been paid for?
