Commission Increase on Gift Certificate Orders
A great last minute gift idea is a gift certificate from Home Living Style. Promote them to your site visitors and for all gift certificates ordered from now until Dec 25, 2006 you will get an extra 3% commission, for a total commission of 13%.

Last Day to Order for Christmas Delivery
All orders of *in stock* merchandise placed by Dec 20th will be delivered by Saturday Dec 23rd. Let your site visitors know!

Datafeed Released
The Home Living Style datafeed of over 3400 products has been uploaded to Shareasale. You can download and use it immediately or use the Shareasale Make A Page tool to generate html for any products or categories you want. There are custom fields that include our categories to make creating your site easier.

1. December Update

HomeLivingStyle has launched and completed a good first month in December 2006.
Although, some might not consider December the best month to launch a program, we’ve been very pleased with the number of affiliates who signed up with interest in promoting the fine furnishings offered at HLS.

- 128 affiliates signed up in December?
- The highest priced item sold by an affiliate in December `06 was $2200.
- Top affiliate earned just under $500

We can read different things into the initial month data. Yet, it’s really just information to show that affiliates are signing up and making sales. However, there is still very little competition and you can increase your chance at being one of the few web-publishers featuring these fine furnishings, gifts and décor items on the internet.

2. Recommended Products

Venetian Mirrors are strongly recommended by HLS. And they feel so strongly about it that they have increased your commission by an additional 3% for a total 13% commission on Venetian Mirror orders.

I actually think the mirrors could make good suggestions as valentine’s gifts. Although, to some they might seem expensive. There are a variety of price ranges including some at around the $300 mark (qualifies for free shipping).

Consider these statements:

- “ In the Romantic Venetian Style”.
- “ A Beautiful mirror to frame your beautiful reflection”
- “ A gift of beautiful style and function”.
- “ An Heirloom that will continue to remind…...”
- “ The Venetian Style adds a romantic look to any room or hallway”.

(Okay - I am not only hopless at being romantic and maybe I am “stretching” the idea a bit. It’s just to get you thinking. Give it a test. )

3. First Three sales earn an extra $10 Bonus.

HLS wants to continue to motivate you to reach that first hurdle and get you going to more sales. They’ve extended the offer of an additional $10 bonus when you accomplish your first three sales through February 2007.

1. First It's the GoldenCan option. HomeLivingStyle.com has made arrangements
with Goldencan for affiliates to use the datafeed with one line of HTML
code from GOLDENCAN. Note; The trade will be that every fourth (4th) click
from your links being displayed by Goldencan scripts will go to Goldencan.

This is a very easy option to get many links up as experienced affiiates
know. If you are struggling with other ways to display datafeeds or clean them
up, maybe this is the perfect option at least in the interim while you are
learning other ways. The added product links deep linking to the specific
item pages are sure to gain you more clicks and sales at HomeLivingStyle.com

2. Want to put a SEARCH BOX for HomeLivingStyle.com products on your website?
One of our new affiliates made a request and we made one up at SAS that you can
use too. Once you're logged into your Sharasale.com affiliate account you
find this little gem at the Special HTML/email Creatives page.

You can also play around at adding tags to the HTML to get an image to show or
change the overall size and look of the box. You can even put a default search
term in the form field. We made it as simple as to encourage customization.
So, if you have any questions or your are trying to get a certain look to the
HLS search box, send us an email at affiliates@homelivingstyle.com. If Deb or
Danny can't figure it out, we will find someone who can. Now, Your site visitors can
be encouraged to check if HomeLivingStyle.com has that unique item they've
been looking for. Give it a try! If they do find what they are looking for your
chances at making a sale are higher compared to suggestive links.

3. Additional Bonuses on VENETIAN Mirrors (only) and Photo Albums.
The 3% additional bonus commission is continuing on VENETIAN Mirrors, and that
is to say it applies only to the "VENETIAN" Mirrors. These are fantastically
