Some of the merchants who have notified Illinois web publishers that they'll be dropped from their "affiliate programs" due to the enactment of the Illinois advertising-nexus law:

Affiliates who were terminated by the affiliate programs above could register on Ebay's affiliate network (EPN).

Seems like Amazon own quite a bit of companies, some that have affiliate programs and some that don't.

Did all of these subcompanies also terminate affiliates?

I have gathered the list (not verified and not comprehensive) so just-in-case it hits my state, I know which merchants to looking out for and be prepared.

Please feel free to add, amend, delete from this list:

Amazon.com - ended
A9.com
Abebooks

Accept.com

Amie Street

Askville.com
Audible.com

Booksurge

Box Office Mojo

Brilliance Audio

Buyvip

CreateSpace.com
dpreview.com

endless.com - ended
Exchange.com

fabric.com

Gojaba.com
IMDB.com

Joyo.com

Junglee.com
LivingSocial.com

Lovefilm
(British Netflix)
Mobipocket.com

PlanetAll

Quidsi (Diapers.com, Soap.com and BeautyBar.com)
- ended
Reflexive Entertainment

Shelfari

shopbop.com
- ended
smallparts.com

Touchco

Woot.com
Zappos.com - ended

6pm - ended

I started this discussion thread to create a list of companies which have actually terminated (or announced termination, with a specific end date) of their existing performance-based advertising ("affiliate programs").

I'm very uncomfortable with naming companies which someone thinks are "likely to" or "might" terminate Illinois affiliates, based only on "intelligent speculation."

For at least two of the programs listed as "ended," I'm unable to find any supporting evidence (such as a copy of a termination email, a blog post, or a news article). For several others, I'm aware of specific reasons why they're unlikely to end their affiliate programs.

It makes no sense at all to name companies (like IMDB) who sell no products and who never had an affiliate program.

I'm even more uncomfortable with the idea of posting "suggestions" of alternate advertisers.

I'm with you on this. Let's keep the list to actual terminations.
