Hi Guys,

My name is NIc (no it is spelt that way) and i work for one of the larger UK affiliate network, AffiliateFuture.
We are about to launch our network into the USA so thought I had better have a nose around the forums to see if there are any useful hints and tips. Oh plus we need more affiliates of the US variety and some more merchants would'nt hurt either. Got suggestions, lets hear them.

Cheers

Nic

Nice of you guys to drop in and say hi. Sorry about the delay in response but i am based in our London office so the tim difference is quite big!

Liz if you are interested in becoming a merchant on our network then i will contact you today and discuss it further with you. Your site looks pretty good and if you join now then you will get a great deal as we are offering US merchants a dicounted service as an launch offer. By the way what is a Cappy?

Hey Limey,

Welcome to ABW

Cappy is short for Capricorn - from the zodiac.

What are your rates for merchants, are you going to host your servers in the US? You've already identified the time difference - how's that going to be handled? Are you going to have a US office? What's the base language for your technology?
I saw you have 80+ merchants currently in the UK what would make you a player in the US market? I've got more but I'll let you answer those first.

I was waiting for someone to ask about that!

Cappy = Capricorn

Re: Network - I don't think we're actively seeking out any new networks at this time but please feel free to forward me the information. I'm happy to have a gander.

Cheerio,

What would make it here?

Keep it clean and parasite free. Have consolidated, on time payments are a couple things.

Hey guys,

In terms of scumware AffiliateFuture was the first ethical network in the UK, but all the majors are moving that way now, even Tradedoubler (apparently).

Affiliate payment is pretty swift through our system so you should receive all commissions earned this month in the next month. Obviously with all new things there are bound to be a few teething problems. Hence why we are keeping a bit of a low profile until we are 100% convinced that we have it right.

One the merchant side we do not put the cuffs on in terms of contracts, we ask for max of 3 months commitment from merchants after which they can terminate with a short notice if they are not happy. There is no exclusivity clause either so they maintain the option to use other networks as well. In short we try to be very affiliate friendly as and fair to the merchants, economically and in terms of contract.

Happy affiliates = Happy merchants = stress free and very happy AffiliateFuture.

We use the same modle in the UK, so we know it works.

Speak to ya later

Nic
