I am looking for cost effective ways to promote affiliate programs.

Has anybody used or are you aware of an "affiliate-showcase.com"....it appears to be a "search engine" to promote multiple affiliates,,,,,,,,a monthly fee.

Not sure what you are asking Leo so not much advice I can share. When you say you are looking for ways to promote affiliate programs, are you saying that YOU have some programs that are set up for affiliate participation and you want to know how to recruit affiliates?

If this is what you are saying, I'd recommend looking around at the paid program announcements you see here in the forum and see if that gives you some ideas. If that's not it - then I don't have much to lend to the conversation.

I currently "belong" to a number of affiliate programs as an affiliate.

I ran into the program I mentioned (affiliate-showcase dot com) that appears to be a directory that one can join for a monthly fee to promote all your affiliate links.

My question is: Has anybody used this program or anything similar?

Just trying to learn more before I go down another rat hole

Just thought you should know there are rules about manually adding sigs.
I don't use that but I am sure someone will be along soon to offer more info.

Most Affiliates Forums have a directory listings of affiliate programs. What you can do is check out these Directories and Forums. I can give you a list of sites with this kind of information but I could be flagged here as spamming. I am new here so I dont know if I can do that here.
