Hi Everyone,

I'm new to affiliate marketing (4 months) and I want to set up a site with RSS Feed to pull merchandise into my site. I have an account with LinkShare which offers RSS Feed but a limited amount of vendors using it. I would like to have a better selection to choose from than what I find on Link Share. I have looked at CJ and Google and they don't offer it. Are there any other affiliate marketing companies that other RSS Feed to their Affiliate community? - Take care.

Yes - AvantLink does have an RSS feed for their merchants.

BTW CJ does offer XML datafeeds, you just have to set it up under Account > Services

Hi 2Busy,

I am using an auto feeder with RSS feeds but that will not work with XML files. I don't have a clue how to set up XML feeds to load on to my site. Is there any freeware software I can get that will perform that function for me?

If it's a wordpress site, there are a ton of plugins that can do this. You may have to tweak the product display template some.

To use xml files in a static site you would need to associate a schema file with it, similar to css. If it isn't WP or static, I don't know how you could integrate it but I would bet there are answers for Drupal, Joomla etc. that you might find in their documentation - or there is always the search engines.

The site is built on WP. I have looked at some of the free plugins offered but they don't seem to be designed to take the contents of my static XML file I get from CJ and convert it to separate posts like you can get with RSS feed.

Avantlink and Buy.at are the only ones with an RSS that I know continually update. Most bigger players will have one but not nearly as close to what people expect from the regulars.
