"Coldwater Creek (CWTR: news, chart, profile) tacked on more than 2 percent after the company said that its board has declared a 50 percent stock dividend on its common shares, a move that essentially amounts to a three-for-two stock split. The dividend will be paid on Jan. 30 to shareholders of record on Jan. 8. At present, the Sandpoint, Idaho, apparel retailer has 10.8 million outstanding common shares. Following payment of the dividend, it will have 16.2 million outstanding common shares." --
