All in One SEO plugin. Download it, activate it, then you can put your keywords in Wordpress.

yes each has to be seperated by a coma also don't forget that you have to put every variation of the spelling
example say your keywords are Tax and Bat
it should look like this
tax,tAx,Tax,TAX,TaX,taX,bat,bAT,BAT,Bat,BAt,baT
Kidding but 5000 keywords is too many.

You take your keywords, split in very related groups, write an article on each of them, so maybe you will end form 5000 keywords, say, 300 good keyword groups, so write 300 articles, make each of them target these keywords.
eg.
best weight loss pills
top weight loss pills
recommended weight loss pills
(easily goes into one article)
And once you have made the page live, make sure you do some interlinking from other posts as well get inbound links from external sites where they are related to
Make sure title, relates to the main keyword of article and that's all. No need to stuff them in your meta-keywords tag.
p.s. make sure your description tag mentions keyword but in human appealing way that would trigger the click from google search results
