yes, it's illegal:
Here's a case where a place was stealing ebay content, and ebay won.

Has anyone else noticed that godaddy.com seems to have an awful lot of scammers on their books?

They seem to be a aggregator of many other forums use info from forum as an 'introduction' to the actual site, but it's obvious that they just want to get ranked for those pages and get their andsense clicked.

There is opt-out option here:

Where would their copyright voilation be? Is it the snippets or would the links be grounds for copyright infringement?

The spider is for their search results not their directory.

What a World!

Copy an entire forum, Paste a couple of G-ads and make a lot of money from other people's work!

Great!

And I thought that I had a reason to get mad yesterday!

The sleazeball better come up with some paying keywords for Adwhores and B-a-HO's before he pilfers ABW.

???

Am I inadvertantly using or supporting Doug??

I am confused. Sometimes I don't follow all the ins and outs and mechinations. Or, I can forget what I may have put on pages in the past.

PM me if you want.

I don't do negative spells because of the Law of Three but I sure can do a justice spell.

You want me to ask the deities to give him the true justice that he deserves?

Or, I can do a bubble spell so that any negative he sends forth remains in his own bubble. A binding spell could also work.

But, I kind of like justice spells, myself. That way, if there is something I don't know or understand about a situation, the person only gets what they justly deserve.

Lets me off the hook as far as harming none. They can only harm themselves. It merely calls the attention of the deities to the situation and it puts it in their hands to make it right.

It's a ***** dealing with an ethical witch!

I never meant it to be negative --- only just [justice] ... truth was told, truth be done. ;-)

I will work up a justice spell, then.

It will take at least a day because I will have to do a little research on the best components for the spell.

Actually, there is another one I need to work on as well. I may as well put that one together , too.

Well, it is interesting. But, I don't know that it is justice.

If he itched and scratched them off you might be closer.

But, I don't really think that is the direction I will go with this.

Justice makes the victims of injustice whole again.

It takes away what is ill gotten and restores it to the rightful parties.

Punishment is the perogative of the deities.

You're talking to the wrong person If you want to do war, hire a General.

However, I think a mundane DMCA to Google and Yahoo would be much more efficient in this case. Add complaints to all his merchants. Why burn neurons when an email'd do the job?

Outright blasting (magickally) some mutha who desperately deserves it IS ethical! IMO!

(That's not to say he won't blast back, cuz if he's got an iota of an inkling how to do so, he will...)

Understood, but I am Wiccan and, therefore, bound by the Rede.

What is needed is an Asatru warrior witch or an independent witch practitioner who is non-Wiccan.

And, you know, I am pretty certain that ABW has a few members who are just that.

But, you know, justice spells work pretty darned well.

But, thanks for the warning. I will put up some defenses.

ABW witches, I will tell you when I do the spell so you can add energy if you want to!
