I applaud Haiko for this addition to ABW terms:

I think it is high time that this board not be used to potentially attack competitors or other fellow affiliates!

seems shortsighted; a member should be allowed to volunteer his/her own details if relevant to the discussion.

It does not refer to putting your OWN details or site information, but rather OTHER affiliates details or site name. Essentially, to eliminate slander or attacks on one another, which is unnecessary in a public forum.

I don't think this is new. See the revision date.

I also don't believe it is will stop the "outing" of parasitic affiliates which, as our recent debate in another thread suggests to me, underlies your post.
