We've been doing Featured Threads for about a year now, where we flag the most relevant threads for exposure on the front page of
ABW. Starting in January, we started a monthly recap of the featured threads.
Today, I've expanded the exposure of featured threads through two new features:
1) Featured threads will now be indicated with "
Featured: " before the title of the thread, helping them to stand out in New Posts and forum pages.
2) A new search option has been added so that you can see all featured threads. You can find a "
Featured Threads" link in the "New Posts" navbar. In addition, you can restrict normal searches to just Featured threads by using the
Advanced Search and choosing the prefix "Featured:". (The default search still searches all threads.)
If you see threads that you think should be featured but aren't, let us know!
