Email from the scammer looks like this
====Subject: Hired To Kill You....
Dear Friend,
It is important we come to a conclusion now or never because, I have been hired to kill you, this is the simple fact and I have been paid well for this job to be sincere with you, I have your full data’s, from your name, to your address, to your phone numbers including this email address. I watch you everyday since the past two weeks and I know where you go and when you come back and everything you do. Do not dare me, I am a born killer, which is what I do to survive, I was born and brought up in Mexico.
Never the less, I do not want to kill you, reasons best known to me, only if you will comply with my ransom and I will let you go and even send you the pictures of the person in charge (Who Paid me to kill you) including a very important video tape that you might need.
NOTE: No Police. Ignore this message if you wish to die, I give you 5 days to comply or I will come for you. I am presently on another assignment. You have your choice.
Don. Stella

That certainly is a new take on a scam. Very harsh. I have not receive it yet, but I imagine it will filter it's way through to my inbox at some point. I get sick of these scam emails, and usually just delete them. On about 1 in every 10 I usually just get so irritated I take the time to report them to the governments email phishing address. Here it is the link if you or anyone else wants to report such an email now or in the future: Report phishing scams

I hate these terds. they really make me upset!
Good luck!

WTF does being born in Mexico have to do with it?
I'm sure this will freak out some people but it shouldn't take long for word to get around that it's just more Nigerian bullshit.
Hey, Haiko was born in Mexico, wasn't he?

What if nobody else gets a copy of this message? (queue Twilight Zone Music)
What if you were the only one who got it?

This moron scammer may have bitten off more than he can chew. Extortion and death threats take this beyond the normal annoying spam e-mail. You could forward this message to the FBI and Homeland security to see if they're interested. Even if the spammer is offshore they can possible trace, apprehend and prosecute through agreements with other countries.

Try this: http://www.us-cert.gov/nav/report_phishing.html
It would be a good start and if a real serious threat I am sure they will investigate!

It is very sad that some actually fall for this and other email scams. Some of these email scams can seem so real though...one that almost fell for was the bank information update scam. It was abouth three years ago. After looking at the email something was just not right. Like they say, why would your bank send an email asking you to update your personal information including ss#? They don't.

It sucks if somebody would to fall for it.
Just imagine the sleepless nights and sending the information to that person..
Don't they have anything legit to do???
NBC -Dateline have quite a lot of good investigative hours of nigerian scams. They would confront them in Europe, try to find them in Nigeria and there are lots of suckers from US too. Usually, those guys/girls would fall in love or is promised marriage with some model and they would do anything for the nigerians.

Wow! That's pretty steep. If didn't know that it is a scam, I can see them really fall for it, especially if you have the slightest reason to believe that.
What is the world coming to!?
