This Normal???

I was just looking at the raw log file on one of my new web sites trying to figure why there was any bandwidth usage with no one knowing about the site yet.

I was amazed at the page after page of rapid-fire attempts to enter my site - the server was repulsing them but I worry that one of them might get in.

Is this normal or am I just special?

It sounds weird to me!

Maybe someone had the domain before you, and whoever's trying to get in thinks that it's still the other site (quite possible if they're using some kind of automated thing and they haven't manually looked up the domain in ages)...
