We need a new script!!!!

I still don't get the benefit for merchants using this crap. It doesn't generate traffic for them, it just forces them to pay more in commissions.

Has any merchant seen if their online sales went up? Or do they just have more commission sales to buyerport? Where is any original traffic being generated through this program?

Considering some of the lame messages from merchants that have been posted on these boards, I'm not the least bit surprised that they pay more to get the same sales.

Those same merchants are busily dropping affiliates who don't convert to protect their EPC...of course, the fact that the affiliate ISN'T RUNNING ANY ADS seems lost on them.

Their EPC obviously can't be affected if ads aren't run and clicks aren't generated.

How can I say it in one word?

C L U E L E S S ! ! !

So, it makes perfect sense to me that they will pay more for sales to one affiliate than they would to another FOR THE SAME TRAFFIC. The fact that they would have gotten the sale anyway for a lesser commission payout is completely lost on them!

Canfree. You have put a lot work into this! So tell me, does this mean all that all commissions from these merchants are lost? I have a ton of these on my site

Thanks mailman. It took a few hours. I took them all off their shopping mall, and put them in alphebetical order. But It's important for people to see who's involved, and who to contact for pressure.

I believe so, I set their shopping thing to popup, and everytime, I visit any of these stores, pops up everytime.

Some times the pop up says "Want Rewards.....and you click on it, and it says something like if you want the the reward to go through the site, then do so, or go to their shopping mall.

And some times a Green shopping bag, with Earning Rewards Pop up.

I don't know why the difference, unless it's because it's because the merchant ran a special deal for them.

Thanks Carefree. I'm picking your brain. So if you have 1000 impressions and only two click thru's, does this mean anything?

It's a cinch we'd be wasting money promoting any PPP SE keywords to these lame merchants. I see even Morpheus has some dead pool merchants like Martha Stewart on the list. If you use these merchants let them know by e-mail their can be no Holiday shopping promotions put up for them letting the Morpheus Grinch steal our Christmas.

Now is the time to get new pages into the SE's and this list will not convert as they should before they joined forces with the "darkside". Many of the same ones are used by other parasites like ShopNow/Whenu.com and the Incent DupersAffiliates and opt-out e-mailing spam artists.

Here's what it said on the Red "Want Rewards"
You have navigated to a website of a MSC participating merchant by way of another website's advertisement. In order to support the service you used to navigate to this merchant, we encourage you to continue with any intended purchases. If you are concerned about not receiving cash rewards, you must navigate to these merchants using links provided for you at the Morpheus Shopping Community website.

Red one....1-800 Flowers.
Green One was Backcountry Store.(they are going to be deleted soon on Morpheus)

I see now why my CJ favorite performer last 2 years is now generating 90% fewer sales on increased clicks this year. Bonsai Boy's of NY with a scumware campaign plus the diversion huge 800# "call this # to place an order" banner on every page. I guess Buyersport/Morpheus and the other Parasites lurk these boards since I mentioned this one as a top performer when they were just a 2$$ sign merchant early this year.

No sense in e-mailing them because they no loner answer the plea since they went this shady route. If a merchant expects to come here and recruit they'd best be off this list and those of other Parasite -shopping plug-ins.

Mike....

As I added that one to the list, I thought of you, and knew you'd be upset.

But at least we have a small window before Christmas, and start shuffling merchants around. It's time to re-evaluate.

Canfree,

Did you navigate to BackCountry through an affiliate link or some other regular link like just typing in backcountry's url? IOW, did you get the green slider when clicking on any affiliate links? It would be very interesting indeed if the green slider is still coming up with aff links on certain merchants. That was what happened until sometime this last week when suddenly that other splash screen started coming up. But Jamie indicated in his tests that they did not see consistent results with how Morpheus was working. Who knows what these idiots are up too.

I wouldn't call them idiots... they seem to be pretty good lawyers and brave risk takers.

But it is a no brainer: You steal money until somebody stops you. When the day comes, you pay no penalties and go on with your life enjoying freee money! I'll take that.

I used Haiko's header for Backcountry store and I got the Green Slider.

I used my own affiliate link for 1-800 flowers and got the red slider, telling me to go to their shopping mall for credits, or close and shop any way. Overstock has a Red one too.

So I'm thinking( thinking.....) the green is obviously more dangerous, then the red. NOw It's going to take some time, to figure out who's red, and who's green.

Terminated all PPC advertisements I am running. Half of these merchants are on my site. I lost money this month (earned commissions couldn't make up for the PPC and other ad expenses). I am getting credited for about 15% of the sales I am generating.

Red alert for defense. I'll get some loans to fire the nuke.

Canfree,

The red and green have to do with how you navigated to the site. A red will come up if it's an affiliate link. If you then click on it you will get the splash page to go to buyersport and go through their link. If you do all that, then the green slider will come up.

If you go to a site anyother way, non aff banner, directly typing in the URL, SE listing, etc, the green one will automatically come up. Basically any link that's not an aff link.

I just wanted to make sure the green one wasn't coming up first if you navigated through an aff link.

Getting the cooperative merchants like TigerDirect to devulge here that their network wide sales didn't take a hit when cancelling Morpheus should be proof enough for the other merchants. You get NO extra ROI on accepting a Duperaffiliate or parasites into your program. Merchants are all about money ..and seeing they are getting double dipped by the Dupers (higher commission rates & slotting fees) & Parasites (paying commissions on SE,bookmarks & their own e-mail links) will be the best WAKE UP tool. We need them all to see that the parasites generate no sales on their own, no secondary branding, no SE exposure and substancially do add EXTRA costs to their affiliate marketing efforts.

I agree with you BluesX that the networks spent all of last year developing automation tools for the Dupers and Scumlords to incent our links. Horrible mistake on their part to negate the effect of having to rely upon increased traffic by normal affiliates when automating and monetizing the "Darkside" forces. None of these SCUM generate traffic on their own and all rely upon deception to dupe users to the shopping BHO virus plug-ins.

The problem for endusers of these apps are numerous and represent a real war story. Wake up networks! You are promoting these so called affiliate enabled merchants who spread computer viruses. BF -CJ -LS -Performics staff need to install these programs and then try to remove them from a simple one step Windows uninstall proceedure.

EVERY one of your merchant's and DuperAffiliates programs that can't be uninstalled in ONE STEP should immediately be BANNED from your networks. You openly are promoting computer Adwarez viruses that cripple shoppers machines.

Thanks for the good work Canfree. This list looks sooooo similar the WhenU/SaveNow list that came out about this time last year. Again this list represents about half my merchants and it's time consuming to remove them all. When they send me their newsletters/promos, etc. I'm replying to each of them with a "no thanks" letter. First 3 just went out this morning and hundreds more to go.
