So. About 12:30 PM today I grabbed my mouse to get to work on something and my arm just went nuts. Crippling pains shooting up to the shoulder, tingling once I let go... The whole nine yards.

So, after thinking my career was over for about an hour (I tried several times, same result), I ran out and bought a Logitech Trackball.

Wow.

Amazing. No pain, I picked up the movements right away, and I simply love it.

I'm still going to have the arm looked at, but I'm kicking myself for not switching sooner. We all know mice can be just awful for us.

I have used a track ball for years. I use a track ball mouse with my laptop. Yes, I carry that bugger along with my laptop.

Absolutely can not stand to use that little finger pad on my laptop.

Kensington makes a very good one that is programmable and has a scroll ring. After wearing out a few Logitech devices I went to this brand. I really like Logitech, but they don't hold up under industrial strength use.

I do miss the scroll wheel for sure. I only made a $27 investment, so I still have room to upgrade
