How are affiliates and merchants here coping with this war?

Traffic to my sites has been down about 30% and sales have nearly halted.
I'm promoting merchants that sell shipped products (amazon etc.).

It was fairly preditable for this to happen but what I would like to know is what areas have been hit more and which ones have benefited (if any)?

Please do not discuss the pros or cons of this war, if you want to coment on that post to this thread Here

I'm not seeing any noticable difference. Sales aren't slow nor great just normal really.

Sales yesterday were fantastic. Both today's traffic and sales are down significantly, and it's the slowest day for the month.

Nothing really noticeable yet. Perhaps as the reporting catches up with the past couple of days events. Traffic is down today about 15%, but that is a normal swing, and it's tough to tell if it is a trend. Sales amounts are holding for now.

The tourism and hotel sectors must have been hit really hard. Can anyone into any of those sectors tell us how things are?

Down. I think people are watching TV news.

Traffic was surprisingly normal yesterday but not too many people buying. Yesterday was by far my slowest sales day of the month so far. I know I was off the comp most of the day yesterday and when I cmae on it was only for a few minutes.

I think with the war and the NCAA things could be a bit slow for awhile.

Traffic has held up OK, but sales are a little soft. Not really unexpected though, I thought sales would be off even more.

Yesterday was good! Still not quite normal but a lot better than the pre-war period has been! Lots of expensive orders (hope they stick--at those merchants big orders usually don't). A good cross-section of activity in home and car related stuff. Hardly any sales of things which would fall into the "fun" category, though.

Maybe I spoke too soon. Today's sales have been slower than they have been in ages!

15% down this month (up to now) from February, vs. a 20% increase in February over January.

Yesterday got back on track again Today isn't going too bad with sales but a little off for a Sunday. Overall a really good month already though. Hopefully it will keep the pace to finish out the month.

For the first two weeks of this month, I was on track to triple my best month. The traffic is up after the last google update.

Then the war started.

Traffic is still up, but the sales dropped.

At least it will still be a record month, just not as large as I thought it would be.

It was a very good sales month until last week. Part of it was the war, and part was that we had some very hot items that started to get stale. Then sales dropped big time Friday, but finally rebounded yesterday. I believe the initial shock is over and it is back to business unless there is a major distraction.
