Affiliates like long cookies, no shorter than 30 days but go with 120 days if possible. If the merchant generally has reorders within a short term then the longer cookie length rewards the affiliate for the customer acquisition with return order commissions. A long cookie length is a great recruitment tool.

I think lifetime but I generally won't join a program that has less than a 30 day return cookie.

I feel that I should be rewarded "for life" for sending a customer to a merchant but I know very few merchats offer such a return cookie.

0 -7 Days, Never Promote!!!

30 Days, minimum

90-120 Days, Very Good

Lifetime - Great

I got a question here regarding this then - we use linktrust and the cookie life is set to 7 days in our system, does this mean it only lasts for 7 days for the affiliates?
