The truth is that Nevada is one of the most business friendly states in the country. Offering nearly complete anonymity to businesses, very low corporate fees, and no state taxation.

Isn't it enough to just set up business there? Perhaps I don't understand correctly, I guess it can't be that easy, but I thought I read that just because your business resides there, you don't have to, and that can avoid the issue of sales tax.

No, your residence is also a determining factor. New York State *specifically* states that if you have "a key to" someplace in NYS you are considered as establishing nexus. Most states followed the NYS model, so the wording is probably there.

Best to consult with a tax attorney or internet attorney.
