Hay guys, just a quick question. I searched around the forum but couldn't find an answer so thought I'd start a new thread.
My Question is: From what I understand its ok to use articles from ezinearticles on your site, as long as you don't alter and retain the ezine link. But I was wondering what dose this do for your seo purposes? I know unqiue articles are better, but say the ezinearticle is relevent to your pages topic? Would this have a negative effect on search engine positioning (ie duplicate content). Thanks. |

When I first started, I bought a few articles... and pretty quickly realized it made more sense to write my own (as tough as it was!).
Personally, I see it as duplicate content.. just google some of the phrases to see how many other sites are publishing the same article. Having said that, if you just need to round out some content, and sprinkle *a few* targeted articles here and there, I don't think it would be a bad thing. But you want to be very careful, a duplicate content penalty is not fun. For my own site, I prefer to use my own words, even if the article isn't as well written.. And welcome to ABW! |

Duplicate content is not good. Period.

Bill, don't repeat yourself.
Bill, don't repeat yourself. That's a sign of old age that's a sign of old age. Gary

I am going to write an article to promote my web site and submit it to EzineArticles. But my English is not perfect, I am afraid. There will be a lot of grammatical mistakes. They probably will not accept it at all.
I know about PLR, but I prefer writing on my own. What do you suggest? Please, somebody answer. It will be my first article. Thanks. Dragica 659 |
