Is wordpress a good software to build a website?

For non techies like me WP is superb and if you have no experience there are loads of tutorials on Youtube

I have Dreamweaver and I like it, but I've never fully utilized it because I'm...hmmm.. I'm... well let's just say, I never could figure it all out.

I've used Dreamweaver in the past, but have become addicted to WordPress in the last three weeks. Even made my own theme using Artisteer software. For non-techies, I believe WordPress is the way to go. You give up some things, but there are tons of plug-ins to make it do pretty much what you want.
