What is the purpose of this forum?
The
Paid Announcements and Advertising Forum allows individuals and businesses to post commercially-focused content on ABestWeb.
Generally, ABestWeb does
not allow commercial advertisements or self-promoting links within forum posts outside of this forum.
Why would someone pay to post on ABW?
ABestWeb is one of the most-respected internet destinations for users learning about affiliate marketing to connect with affiliate merchants and networks. Common uses for the Paid Announcements and Advertising Forum include:
- Announcing new or existing affiliate programs to gain brand awareness
- Advertising of products or services that would be of interest to affiliate marketers
- Press releases for new products, company milestones, and service announcements
- Affiliate recruitment by announcing enticing promotions and limited-time offers
What products are available?
- Pay-to-Post Announcement. A paid post in the Paid Announcements and Advertising Forum that remains open for discussion for 30 days. After 30 days, the announcement is removed. The Pay-to-Post Announcement is also syndicated through the ABestWeb Facebook Page and through RSS.
- Sticky Post. As an upgrade to the Pay-to-Post Announcement, you can “sticky” your post to the top of the forum for 30 days. “Sticky” posts are limited inventory items which mean that only five (5) concurrent posts may be available at any one time.
- Highlight Post. To add visibility to your post, you can upgrade to a “highlighted” post. After 30 days, your highlight is removed.
Limitations
Announcements are for a single affiliate program, merchant or website. They are not meant to promote multiple merchants, programs or products on more than one domain. Posts outside of this limitation will be edited or removed.
What are the prices?
- Pay-to-Post Announcement: $99 for 30 days.
- Sticky Post: $50 for 30 days; must also purchase a pay-to-post announcement at the same time.
- Highlight Post: $25 for 30 days; must also purchase a pay-to-post announcement at the same time.
Payment Methods
- Pay Pal and Authorize.net allow payment by credit card.
Support
- Failure to Post. If the self-service feature fails to deliver your post, please submit a support request through our Contact Us form. We generally have a one-business day turn around.
- Content Error. The burden of quality assurance falls upon you. Please preview your announcement before posting it. Once live, it becomes part of internet history.
How do I write compose a compelling announcement?
Here is a suggested approach for Affiliate Program Announcements:
Required Information:
- Merchant Name: link to the merchant’s website.
- Network: affiliate network
- In-house: Is this an in-house program?
- Commission: commission rate or commission plan
- Cookie Length: how long does the cookie remain active for the affiliate
- Join Link: link to the affiliate recruitment page
- Product or Service Description: explain / describe the product that is being sold by the merchant
- Contact Info: affiliate program contact name, email, and phone number
