I'm trying to create a navigation menu with subcategories and am having a heck of a time figuring out how to do it for examples so I thought I'd see if anyone here knows where I might look..

An example of what I'm trying to do is here http://www.marthastewart.com/page.jh...2Bcat245&site= .. Noooooooo, I'm not into Martha , just found this to be close to what I want ..

What I'd like to do is have the menu with the main topics on a page. When a user clicks on a category that has sub's they show without going to another page (like martha's). The user would then click on the sub and be taken to the page..

Anyone have any ideas on this??

Thanks much..

that type of menu (the one on the left)
Decorating

Bedroom

Lighting
Good Things

Can be done using php (direct from your database) but I'm not sure of the code for it, maybe someone here will post it for you.

Yes, the navigation can be done using PHP includes and the appearance and formatting of the links can be done with CSS. Using unordered lists is one way, in <div id=navlist> makes for less coding in the individual links.
